Another way of saying it is that language. consciousness, the self Emerged simulataneously from mirrors. So all are aspects of the same phenomenon.
Is it the case then that we do not actually 'see' until we look into a mirror? i.e. we cannot say 'I see'.
Does this action create 'mirror neurons?' or cause the phase change from ordinary to 'mirror processes' or a 'mirror chain of processing', coopting normal neurons into the 'mirror process'. Is there a bottom up transpositition of ordinary neurons into mirror neurons. This idea has precedent in that one eminent philosopher suggests that consciousness arose with the publication of The Ilyiad. If it is possible to consider this as a serious proposition then the idea that mirror technology gave rise to language and consciousness is more realizeable.
