3 Jonas Brothers And A Dream chapter 38

Brooke: were leaving you can do whatever you want(it came out with a bit more force then she intended but she was angry and couldnt help it seeing this Kevin took her hand and started to pull her to the exit)
Nicole: (she looked around at Megan and nick but they too were avoiding her stare. nick was staring at the wall while he waited for Megan who was struggling to collect all her things in the rush) whoa what got into her, let me help you Megan your break it if you try putting any more in it (as she went to pick the rest of Megans stuff but nick got in their first and took it all in his hands while pulling Megan away)
Nick: she doesnt need your help
Nicole:(she was struggling to keep up with them) I was only trying to help gosh whats got into you all and have you seen Joe
Nick: hes trying to get as far away from you as he can I expect
Nicole: why?
Nick: whos jacket are you wearing Nicole?
Nicole: Dannys why? (Nick just laughed to himself and made his way through the exit with Megan but as they were leaving Nicole grabbed Megans arm and she looked up at her but the look she got from her just shocked her and she let them leave. Megans eyes werent cold and hard like Brookes but had been full of disappointment and sorrow she was left completely confused she had no idea what had just happened but she was planning on finding out. she gave Danny back his jacket and asked Mrs. Jonas if she could call her a taxi as Brooke had all her things in her bag and promised to pay her back and left for the Jonas house)

Nicole could hear talking as she walked up to the house but as soon as she rang the doorbell everything soon went quite she waited but no one answered the door she rang the door again and she could hear Megan moaning at Brooke to let her in
Nicole: if this is some joke you guys are playing on me its not really that funny anymore its kinder cold out here (she shouted through the letterbox. There was some more moaning before Megan opened the door she looked so hurt)whats wrong why do you look so sad
Brooke: because of you (Brooke appeared at the door and just glared at Nicole before taking Megan in her arms)
Nicole: ...wh.
Brooke: (she cut her off) I thought so much more of you Joes been through so much and you were the one he turned to and you just throw it back in his face and break his heart even more (by now Nicole was starting to get quite angry at the fact people were treating her like dirt even though she had no idea what she had done)
Nicole: I broke his heart (she laughed) right I broke his heart of course I did it must have just slipped my mind. (She started shouting)What the hell Brooke I have no idea what youre talking about(Brooke just looked at her in complete shocked and tears started to form in Megan eyes) Im sorry Megan I didnt mean to upset you is Joe here we need to talk
Kevin: (he appeared and stood behind Brooke) I dont think nows a really good time he doesnt really want to talk I think you should just get your stuff and stay at a hotel or something
Nicole: (she was taken back by Kevins words what had she done that was so bad that he wanted her out of the house)well to bad because I do (she pushed past Brooke and made her way into the kitchen as she knew this is where Joe would be if he was sad and her theory was correct there he was sitting at the kitchen table with his head in his hands with nick standing behind him ) Joe?( when he looked up at her it was like looking at him 4 months ago when him and Zoë ended there was just sadness in his eyes)
Joe: (he spoke quietly) I should have seen it coming really there was all those signs but I just chose to ignore them I guess I just thought you werent as low as that
Nicole: (she moved and sat down in the seat opposite him and felt the tears building up again) low?
Joe: did you even really care for me?
Nicole: (she moved her hand and placed it on Joes but he backed away quickly and snapped out of his quite trance and looked at her in anger) of course I care for you
Joe: then why did you do it?
Nicole: (the tears were falling again she didnt know if they were out of pain or frustration) do what? What did I do thats so wrong?
