@ ianput. if you want to start mma the best thing you can work on right now is your cardio. If you were just trying to get big and strong you'd have the wrong approach to applying techniques. Good cardio will let you last through sessions and will allow you to train hard consistently.
as for cardio, try the HIIT approach. Sprint for 10 seconds, rest for 30, repeat. That's one cycle. Try to keep doing these for 5 minutes, then 10 minutes, and so on.
