Most effective campaign ad of all time.

Taylor dropped out of the race right after this aired and Baucus won unopposed with 63% of the vote.

The ad is considered homophobic because it's gay-baiting. The "not the way we do business here in Montana" and the images of a man massaging another man's temples with porno music playing in the background are a classic example of talking about one thing while creating an image of another.

I hate attack ads. They're so immature, and they make it seem like whoever the ad is in favor of his hiding something.

This ad isn't homophobic unless you believe that every hairdresser is gay, and that everything related to hairdressing is gay. There are NO subtle or hidden "gay" indicators. The guy isn't acting queeny, and reaching for his crotch. You only see that if you interpret everything through a sexual lens.

I just searched for this video after reading Senator Baucus' bio on wikipedia. The video is hilarious. It really does make Mike Taylor look really effeminate (not that there's anything wrong with that) which I'm sure freaked a lot of people out in Montana. haha.

Jesus, and I thought the Florida Dem party had a weak bench.

I'm trying to imagine the shit-eating grin of the opposition researcher who first dug this gem up.

Max Baucus has received $2,797,381 from the health sector and $1,170,313 from the insurance sector. Ummm? Does that tell you anything? I am going to every Max video, and every health care reform video on YouTube and getting this out there!
