i respect their right to change in style over time, i just feel that decemberunderground is a step too far in the wrong direction and i don't feel it represents the evolution of the band as a whole, just what jade likes. adam still likes hardcore, hunter has diverse tastes and yet still the band must follow jade's evolution

what? you missed the intro, ass!

decemberunderground is terrible, i'd hate to think there's more of it coming. sing the sorrow was alright, but their stuff from about 1995-2000 is the best, the true punk rock. if their next album is anything but mainstream emo music then i'd be very pleasantly but very greatly surprised.
omg, not happening. and who would care anyway? either way we love all of them to death and i would probably love Blaqk Audio even if AFI wasn't around.

Artist evolve, people evolve, thus, an artist's music must evolve with them. Many punk rock bands maintain the same sound the entire duration of their career which shows nothing but an entire lack of development on the band's psychology. If you truly appreciate the bands music, you'll follow the evolution until the end of their career. Not saying that you have to ENJOY all of their music, but you should at least be able to appreciate their versatility.
