Using mole hill soil for seed bed preparation

Damn those pesky moles! There's no doubt that if your a keen gardener and you have a mole problem you're going to be pulling your hair out trying to think of a way of defeating them.

However,the soil a mole brings to the surface is usually of a good quality and if you get the opportunity, make the most of it.

I collected several bucket loads last night and dressed one of my raised borders - it was perfect for dusting over my onion setts after planting because, using the fine soil gave me better depth cpntrol.
