Lewis Gordon Pugh became the first human to complete a long distance swim at the Geographic North Pole in nothing more than a Speedo, cap and goggles. By swimming in a region that was once completely covered in ice, Lewis showed the world that climate change is happening and we have the power to stop it.

@hike108 He follows the "Channel Swimming Association" Regulations. I guess to qualify as an actual Swim. The Association only allows for him to wear a Swimsuit, Goggles, Ear Plugs, a Nose clip and a cap to count for his immersion in water. Pretty amazing ain't it.

Why doesn't he wear a wetsuit or gloves to protect his fingers? Anyone know?

I've just heard of Lewis Pugh's work & learned something about life listening to his recent debut on Cnn. The thing I can relate to is stepping out of deeply ingrained habits and changing mindsets by degree. – Instead of doing this from a purely physical approach by a determination of the mind, I'd like to introduce something first that should be the main focus.
