Something about the physics of this universe makes me want to stab myself in the head with a pistol. It's a fun game in places, but the puzzle-solving depends on recognizing patterns rather than figuring out how things work. Not as though this were the only video game you call accuse of that....

This is indeed a great contribution to Youtube. I was a small kid when I beat this game back in the 80's. Could you post a video showing the spaceship traveling in space with the song and everything? can you also toggle to see the dotted grid map? what a classic

Yeah it's certainly a great game, I have the original. The graphics remind me of 2600 graphics too.

Although the graphics and sound were more at home with the 2600, I remember liking this for the gameplay and problem solving it required.
