This is NOT true. The more upper arm moves the more is lat work. Wider grip makes it impossible to go behind the body with the elbows.

You use more lats and less biceps when your hands are further apart. You always use both muscle groups, but the wider your hands are the more the lats work

I find it slightly more difficult if you place hands 1-2 inches wider than shoulder width, without sacrificing technique. Try it, maybe you will be amazed. But you are pretty good so im sure you can pull it off ;) Right now im working on 30lbs in my backpack for chinups 10reps. Im only 160lbs but im getting there, lets keep up the good work!!

Why put hands wider? I do use weights.

@shrimpidy : you don't need eyes to see, you need vision! no kipping in this! just speed and plyometrics!
