The Hawks had 2 - 3 player on one Bomber, 2 Hawks V Hird.
Batemen just came out of no where and jumped on a bomber while he was being hit from the ground by another hawk.
Seemed like the majority of the Bombers were trying to stop it.

Sorry they're not the big meat heads you want to see skyline. Unfortunately there's a bit more to AFL than just being heavy and running forward like some other sports.
Being massively bulky would kinda limit their performance since they need to be agile, fast, able to jump and have an incredibly good aerobic capacity.
There's that and the fact that this game has actual skills that the players need to practice, they don't have the time to spend all day working on unnecessary bulk.
