Ducati 748 crash - Braga Circuit - Portugal

This was what happened today to a friend of mine in Braga circuit. He walked away just fine.

@bruninja It seams like there was something on the road. A piece of another bike or something like that. Still it was a very hard breaking entering the turn.

lost the front end during trailbraking, that's going to hurt....... your wallet.

It seems due to hard braking in the entry, the front tire lost its grip and skid..a risk in trailbraking...

En el punto donde hay que frenar él aun sigue acelerando.Por cierto, que se tire antes a la chincane, la hará mejor, y.....aprovecha mejor la pista, puedes ir mas rapido.En las curvas tienes que mantener el gas, si lo abres y cierras, la moto puede tirarte

@bruninja Of the first lap I knew that if you crash, it's because of your gear changes, when you need maximum aderence you skate .... yes you gain on the brake. But the engine is suffering! And that risk .... well nice video!

That was a great piece of riding.The 748 is a track bike icon.

But he crashed cause he was hauling ass..It happened to everyone of us.You feel great you have a fast rythm and then you go just a little too fast and bang..

rear wheel lock? I didn't see anything on the road.. but all in all, very good riding and exploitation of what this classic machine can do. Kudos.

Bem essa 748 estava a andar muito bem, e tu lhe dás bem!

Deves ter apanhado oleo ou resto de pneu, alguma coisa que te fize-se perder a frente, porque apesar de a mota de origem mesmo sendo brembo não é grande coisa a travar, tenho impressão que não foi o caso!

Mas também entraste muito forte na curva.. Mas o importante é que estejas bem.. Abraço
