  • 99 SS has mirrors that match paint.

  • yeah its a true SS... I bought the car new...have all the docementation to prove it like the guy said below...the 98/99 had the black mirrors.. I always find it funny when people make comments like this that dont know what the hell they are talking about...they actually take the time to make themselves look stupid.

  • do you start it in 2nd gear to do the brakestand?

  • nope, that was first gear..dumped the clutch and grabbed the break.... i was planning on letter her burn a little longer but there was a car coming from the opposite direction... oh well i should have made them wait :)

  • im buying a nice 1999 ls1 i think

  • @MrTOBE209 No one cares, if your V6 was really that special you wouldn't be bragging about it on YouTube... you'd be out 'beating' LS1's. Good day. Hope you break 300ft/lbs of torque someday.

  • MAN I HAVE A RS 96 WITH A V6 THAT WILL PUT THAT SS IN SHAME MODE

  • @bluefields88

Hundreds? That's alot. And how high WERE you exactly?

  • @Revo21384 I've seen hundreds of factory SS's with black mirrors....

  • @bluefields88

And you're totally sure of yourself. You left our 35th LE, which came with body-colored roof, without exception. And I dare you to find me a factory SS with black mirrors.

  • Black tops and mirrows were standard.Painted tops and mirrors to match the car were usually an addable option. Most dealerships usually had some color matched cars avalible.I have a 93 z28 and for that year no other color option than black was available.

  • most of the z28 and ss camaros had the black side veiw mirrors some didn't because it was something chevy offered from the factor I had an 94 z28 that was green with matching side veiw mirror even though it was supposed to be black god i miss that car

  • you're totally wrong. Z28's and SS's had black roofs. ALL of them did, hardtops and T-tops. except the B4C police car package, that looked like a V6 camaro with the roof being the body color, but had the LS1. and all SS's were Z28's. SS was an option on top of it.

  • not really man a friend of mines got a z28 99 but a ss hood and changed all the emblems a lot of people do it. and ususally you can't tell without the documentation. sweet ride though
