@chamberl You are correct ! It is Basically George. This song is called "The Inner Light" and was the B-side to "Lady Madonna" on the 45. It was recorded in early '68 while george was doing the soundtrack for the "Wonderwall" movie. The rest of the Beatles lend their backround vocals to the song toward the end.

I Kind of like this song it seems to be a bridge between Indian and rock music. and It sounds really cool to me.
