Randall RM 100M Short Demo,

This is my main amp. It is not cranked in this vid and not properly grounded ( thus noise). High gain. Rock on. I can make a better one if anyone cares. I figured out what the noise is on this..... It's in the guitar!! I'm getting that fixed.

@eetfuk472 Not really. It depends on how high the gain is and where you're standing in relation to the 4x12 cabinet. It's very controllable on the SL+ module. The Ultra module will howl on you if you're standing right in front of it at higher volumes. It behaves if you can get farther away from it at an angle.

@rafapak Yes. I do want to do some better examples of it. I'm visiting out of town with family today, but I may have some time this evening to post something. I was experimenting recently with the amp mic-ed directly to a wav file instead of the camera and it was a much better representation of the sound. I'll try to get on it. Thanks.

great sound, do you think randall mts combo sounds as good as this head?

@rafapak I've never actually tried any of the mts combos, but I would think they should sound just as good as the head does. You should be able to get the same tones out of them using the same preamps. The tone characteristics are very much in the preamp modules. You really have to open this thing up to start hearing the power amp clip and then it's way too loud, but nice for as long as other's ears can take it. :)

sweet tone! I have the rm100 also and i put a pq3 in the loop and it is just .... brutal. I use it to get more balls out of it as my main axe is the rg2228! I cant believe that more people dont have this amp! its notthing like the other randalls at all! so... thanks for the video!!!!

@Eaglewings7465 Hey thanks. I have tried the Kirk Hammet one and I like mine better. I can put any of those preamp modules in this amp, but I've just stuck with the ones I picked when I bought it. Left to right I got SL+, Blackface, and Ultra. I can't believe how noisy it is on this. I have to ground it manually Because my house sucks nothing is grounded. Otherwise it is very quiet.
