  • depends on the year it was made the older ones had a 60 series in them and the newer ones ran cummins, ive ran both and love both but perfer the 60 series

  • Great video Todd, still your biggest fan!

  • Best of both worlds, sounded like a Cummins to me in the 3800C, lots of turbo and because I've only know Madills that are somewhat new like this one to have Cummins. The truck is very cool, why does Tolsons have all Tandems with Jeeps? Isn't it better to put a Tridrive for the extra drive axle plus a 3 axle long logger like that?

  • lots of tooth picks lol

  • What kinda weight can that truck haul? I suppose the bridge has some thing to do with it too, not just the number of axles on the ground. Good looking outfit.

I drove a maxie shortlogger in Oregon that had a 3 axle tractor(it should have had a 4th drop axle but didn't) that could gross 46,000lbs and a 4 axle Whit-log pull trailer that could legally gross 52,000lbs.(98,000lbs total)

Off highway I'd gross 120,000 to 130,000lbs gross. We called them "Reggie Loads"!

  • lovely truck !

  • Those grapples always fascinated me.
