    first of all, not be mean...

    remember you A has to be up not side ways... you H needs to be up to not to the sides... you have to show the fingering positions upwards where the person will see... not side ways...

  • Everyone, you have to remember that while there's the standard ASL, there's also different 'accents' if you will. Kind of like a New Yorker sounds different from a Texan, someone who learned sigh language in New York will sign a little differently then someone in Texas. So while, yes, I think she's wrong, it's because of where I'm learning, versus where she did.

  • @justineeelovee Not really. There seem to be two versions of "K". This is one of them. A "P" is a little different though. When doing the "P" it is basically the same as the "K" in this video, BUT when doing a "P" you would turn/swivel you hand down, so that the index finger is not pointing upwards (as in this "K"), but sidewards or a little down (and the middle finger is pointing down.

    So, the hand gestures are the same, just the orientation is different.

  • @alyssa9007 Nope. There just seem to be two ways of people showing the K. If you look around you will find a lot of resources making the K this way.
