Starting my Norton 750 Commando after cleaning the start system in the Amal Monoblock Carbs

Corrections: 1) Shut off valve is on the oil line not fuel line, which eliminates wet sumping when you don't ride regularly. 2) starting system usually gets clogged with varnish and gunk from today's crappy gas 3) don't have to cross fingers, always starts 1st or 2nd kick

  • Sorry everyone. Mistakes in video

    1) shut off valve is in the oil line not fuel line to eliminate wet sumping typical on British bikes of this era.

    2) Amal concentric carbs starting system get's clogged from the additives in today's gas

  • Dunstall tank and mufflers. Probably Dunstall rear sets. Seat is not Dunstall, just aftermarket cafe seat.

  • Trade my 87 Harley FXR for it...

  • nice bike, its a dunstall but I don't see disk brakes up front or the Dunstall pipes? a bit confused, but yet - a beautiful bike.
