It was a privilage moment to meet the late Kenya's Nobel laureate, Wangari Maathai on Global freedom of Expression back in 2009.
Then, me and my professional coach Abera Lemma had the opportunity to conduct interview with her and this was her speech on the conferen in Oslo.
Professor Wangari Maathai, Nobel Peace laureate and conservation heroine, has died in Nairobi after a long battle with cancer. She was 71.
May the almighty God rest the soul of Professor Wangari Maathai in everlasting peace.
