Why the extra-long magazine? I only see you firing 6 rounds at a time. Does that mean it is just for show, like three 6 round mags stacked together?

Is for practical shooting. Can fire 18 rounds. The film was taken when only 6 shot are in the magazine.

In case you ever run out of ammo. Who needs a bayonet when you can do things the manly way and bludgeon your enemy into submission?
In all seriousness tho, that has got to be the longest magazine Ive ever seen. Loaded to capacity it must weigh a ton.
