You do know you can just turn advanced gestures off.
-
BTW. the top right & left pull down menus, requires precise pressure application on top (as u 've indicated) or more easily a slight down ward gestures works every time
-
so AT&T only carries the plus and not the standard pre right?

The multitask sweep gesture on webOS pretty much resemble what one can get on a desktop computer, it's really fast and productive, unlike iPhone OS that can barely multitask in the 4th version. Not to say the oh-so-popular upcoming Windows Phone 7. I guess Symbian and Android should come out with a similar way of multitasking instead of the classic double tap on homescreen for the task manager and switch between application which is good to have but no where as good as the WebOS does. Great Palm

I completely disagree about the web browser. The webOS browser is much better than Opera Mobile. It is a very good webkit based browser and when it gets Flash next month it will be much better than the iPhone's browser. There are no limits on open tabs. The one and only problem I have with the webOS browser and maybe webOS itself is that you can't create folders. This makes it hard to organize your bookmarks and applications. The checkerboarding is an issue of the weak CPU not the browser.
