As usual with Glazunov, it always sounds like composing came naturally to him. Not much struggle - if you know what I mean...

@robinho1979 I cannot guarantee that this is so, but the style is almost certainly that of Ivan Shishkin, an important Russian painter of landscapes and forest scenes like this. I am about 90% certain that it is by him. In any case, it is certainly by some Russian realist of the time, if not specifically by Shishkin.
