  • @ekmautner You ever thought that his car didnt come equipped with airbags? (Front airbags didn't become standard equipment until the late 90s early 2000s)

BRB my 1992 240SX sure doesn't have em. My 98 blazer does...and it doesn't really matter...without em, a quick headsmack on the wheel wont kill me(Probably bounce right off LOL)...but not wearing the seatbelt sure could.(Ejection=Really fucking bad day for you)

  • i wouldnt buy a stearing wheel from ebay :o to much crap up there, i rather cash out for like a momo, nardi or a sparco :o

  • If this helps with the srs light. You can take the bulb out but note is the some models if do so the srs module will beap constantly, and if so look under the dash and look for the main harness plugged to the srs module (Yellow). And it will turn the heaping off. Or if don't want to talk bulb out just unplug the harness. Hope this comment helps. But will not have air bags if main harness is unplugged.

  • @ekmautner Actually airbags most of the time are life threatening and only give an extra 3% or so chance of survival. There are special cases where it is safer to not have an airbag. One of these cases is myself. I drive a manual Honda and my legs aren't exactly the longest so I'm very close to my steering wheel. If it were to go off it would probably give me life threatening injuries. On top of this my steering wheel is a ticking time bomb because the airbags aren't working correctly.

  • i have the samr thing exept mines a grant and it cost 104 dollars lol

  • With any luck, you're in a state that will fail your inspection because the airbag has been removed. Your $20 chinese ebay steering wheel looks like.. cheap. I know you're stuck with a boring car and just want to make it more sporty. Be smart about it with mods that aren't going to put you or anyone in danger. You might not care about yourself, but think about how you'll feel if a friend or family member gets in an accident in your car, and an airbag would have determined survival.. or not.

  • why da hell would you put that on a auto galant? it looks like a sore thumb

  • wow this guy is retarded.

he took off his airbag steering wheel to put that in.

if you don't have a harness why the fuck would u do that?

now your pretty much guaranteed to die in a crash.

  • The problem is that everybody keeps buying this same exact "RS Type" steering wheel, ebay actually has better steering wheels($40-50 ones).

  • always keep the replaced parts, just in case if the auto shop you go to doesn't pass you, you can swap em again, PASS, then put back the replacements!!!
