5kg Liquid explosive detonation

It was 5kg of my recently developed C14.6-H liquid explosive composition boosted by 60g ANNMAl and detonated with 0.2g Ag2C2.AgNO3. It is an ammonium nitrate based explosive solution with 15% water and off course some other stuff, no glass balloons, no other self explosives, no metal powder.
It is the easiest and cheapest (10% cheaper than the C14-H) explosive to make besides ANFO, the good thing is that I can use low quality fertilizer grade AN in prills, and allow it to dissolve by itself, no need to dry (off course it is a liquid composition with water) or powder; it is so easy to make that it is possible to fill a swimming pool with it in a few hours. The down side is the power, it is stronger than ANFO with a higher VoD but weaker than many other compositions I have made.
The video really don´t show the real sound of the detonation, it was very intense with several echoes, the last one I heard strong happened 30 seconds after the detonation so the sound travelled for 60 seconds before it got back. Some people about 2km away thought that there was some rock blasting operation going on in the area.

Thanks, I hope to get new ones soon. It is hard to know when because for each working explosive I make there´s a lot of trials and fails.

It's hard to believe that you made a explosive solution containing no other explosives or metal powders. But i've already seen some awesome stuff from you so is must believen you. to bad you will not give me te composition of the explosive, ah wel.... I'll just hold to emusified ANFO witch is also cap-sensitive.

Glycerol,

About the emulsified ANFO you make, how strong they are, compared to other stuff? They should be a mix of AN, Al powder, organic fuel dispersed with some surfactants, a thickener and some micro glass balloons to increase sensitivity, right?

The C14.1-H-L (from the 10.5 kg blast) is a thick liquid and I can make the C14-H (without metal powder) a thick liquid too.

i was thinking, what about adding a thickener to make consistancy more like oily ..

and you could pack it in long polyethylene bags.

the booster could be pre-inserted and wired with detcord so you can connect it with other bags to make a long column, i know it could be impossible to you to get some detcord.

but its just an idea
