Laws are only valid for the law abiding citizens. Politicians are corrupt, party lines mean nothing but money means everything. tell me, has the law against mags over 10 rounds stopped the shootings where multiple people were killed or did they just reload? How does a flash hider and a pistol grip make something inherently evil and therefore illegal? a mini 14 with a wood stock and 5 round mag is a hunting rifle but one with a pistol grip and 30 round mag is an assault weapon, WTF? same gun.

You forgot to tell 'em that the chief of police in every town can restrict your carry license to range and hunting only.

I'm 39 now and I got in trouble with the police when I was 17, the only time it was destruction of property malicious damage breaking and entering. I think it was expunged, but I don't know. I'm thinking of getting my classA or B gun license, do you think the trouble that I got into will hurt me from getting it. Thank you.

@frnzkuester I dont belive they check medical records just criminal records so probally yes.

However if you are going through a rough time you need to get help. Dont consider a gun purchase now. Down the road would be a better time.

It is my belief if you live in a state that wont issue ccw permits or they deny you one and you have no criminal record and you get injured or killed in a situation were a firearm could have saved you I belive that the family should be able to sue the hell out of the state. Not that money can fix a death or serious life changing situation. It breaks my heart that the most dangerous areas are ussually the ones that are the strictest on gun laws and victims are defenseless.

The brady background check is all thats needed.  Any other rules is an infrindgement on our rights and is evil. I hate the ccw laws I think all states should be constitutional carry. You get a background check to buy the gun and then you have to have another one and pay the state to ccw. Some states ccw are way to expensive amd some dont even issues them.

A felon doesnt care about about a cww permit LOL. Gun laws just screw over people who want to defend themselfs.

Spot on description of cambridge and good points overall, but have you heard about that bill filed by GOAL that would repeal much of the assault weapons ban in massachusetts. I know its got a snowball's chance in hell of passing but its getting quite a bit of support.
