What do kids in Africa play with? How do they spend their time without Lego, XBox or Wii? :-)
This is a short documentary, shot in the south of Congo, during the making of a fictional movie, 'A Clay Cellular Phone' (Een mobieltje van klei).
Edited by Reinier Sonneveld (http://www.reiniersonneveld.nl).
Camera by Theanne Boer.
Produced by De Verre Naasten, Tjerk S. de Vries.
Experience how inventive these kids are!
You don't need fancy things and equipment to be creative.
Don't we all enjoy it more when our children play with 'ancient' stuff like a cord than with game consoles and computers. A mix is best, like with all things.
