  • Take that prequel trilogy. You have nothing in 3 movies that comes close to one epic scene of many in Empire.

  • JESUS CHRIST IS THERE ANY VIDEO ON YOUTUBE WITH THE RIGHT PITCH FOR THE MUSIC????? fuck.

  • Movie from times when effects were "special" not the fucking lazy ass CGI

  • @raulmaster1000 ankin skywalker is a whiny little bitch that murders Muslims

  • At 2:40, the asteroid crossing the screen from top left to right is actually a potato, put in by a nameless effects manager.

  • @XHellphyreX yea gc has no charm at all watching cgi is like watching a cut scene in from videogame i went to go see avatar and i couldn't enjoy it cause the entire time i was their i was thinking press a to skip press a to skip

  • god fuckin dammit I love these movies so much! just awesome!

  • Does anyone know the song when they get OUT of the asteroid field and attack the Star Destroyers? I'm pretty sure it was the song for Nar Shadda Multiplayer in Jedi Outcast.

  • 8:36 is the best. the way c3po screams and flaps his arms, its funny shit.

  • You are right. CGI still looks El Fako---especially in close ups. Not that it doesn't have its uses, and is a good tool to add to the f/x technician's toolbox. But, unfortunately, it has become a crutch for today's movies to cover-up weak storylines and poor screenwriting. Got a weak scene? The director tells the f/x guys to create a thousand aliens instead of one. Just a few mouse clicks is all it takes. This sequence in Empire was mostly real models--VERY difficult to do back in 1980.
