NASA animation of the Mars Science Laboratory mission, scheduled fro launch between Nov 25 and Dec 18, 2011, to arrive at the Red Planet in August 2012 and soft-land the Curiosity rover. Powered by a radioisotope thermal generator, the rover is expected to operate for at least and martian year and travel up to 20km from its landing location looking for signs of past life on Mars.

@SALSN hehe, the audio engineers in NASA's media department must be kinda self-loathing. They know it's inaccurate to put sound in space, but they know they gotta put it in to make sure the public doesn't get bored during the space scenes.
