@ToushKing Manga went through a rollercoaster after that part anyway. First it's WTFDUDE, then it's "oh... kay?", then it's a thousand shounen-ai boys all of a sudden, then i don't know. Someone told me the manga became better after that horrific thing, but... whatever. The mangaka herself had WAY too many breaks while doing this and changed her style often. She had a really nice run with this series, but she risked too much in my opinion. Anime is still pretty awesome though.
