Royal Enfield Bullet: Short Trip

Just starting up my Royal Enfield, taking a very short ride. I love this bike! The Royal Enfield Bullet was designed in 1954 and the company has built the same bike, continuously without change until 2009, when they finally redesigned the engine. My bike was built in 2003, but it looks exactly like the Enfields built in 1955.

Top speed is about 75mph. I typically go about 65 on the straightaways.

Not to smack any fingers but on the Royal Enfield webpage they say the the first bullet was built in the 30`s, the bullet 350 in 1939 and the 500 in 1948.

I don`t know if we are talking about the same?

Sorry, I should say that this Bullet design is the same as the 1955 model. You're right that the Bullet was designed before that.

machines made right are my true delight ..got a dodge dart and a farmall,had mustangs novas and 2 1957 chevies...never had a locomotive yet...beautiful bike ye have
