  • I just want to thank the owner of this video, lazbo4174, for presenting himself in an open and logical manner. Too frequently do people bring themselves to shouting, name calling, and other nonsense over the ideologies of religion. Above all, respect every individuals right to worship who/how they please, you don't have to agree with it, but you should at least grant the respect deserved. Again, thanks to the owner of this video for conducting himself in a fitting manner.

  • grazier281... I would like to thank you for your encouraging words my friend. I pray that you are richly blessed

    Thanks

  • The doctrine of Trinity predates Christianity. In fact here is verbage you won't even find in the Bible.

Consider: trinity, triune, God the son, God the Holy Ghost, light from light, very God from very God,

And in church history people who refused this doctrine were put to death. Today, they are lampooned right out of fellowship.

    That's ABSURD!

Spiritual dogmatism is the bane of humanity; fanaticism is the brother of doubt.

  • the word trinity is not Biblical in origin and does predate Christianity as you stated. the word trinity is not used in Scripture the word that is used in the New Testament is θεότης theotēs which translates Godhead and in the Old Testament אלהים' ĕlôhîym which translates God or Lord

  • It's a house of cards that has been threatened by each wind of truth. I am not opposed to corporate worship or community; however, God's presence does not validate a specific religion.

I shrugged off the shackles of religion many years ago.

  • true religion is a good thing my friend... James 1:27

  • lazbo4174,

Plz watch the videos under my favorites and you can see allot of evidence that the universal church would totally apostasize.

Anything done by TheBackyard Professor should really interest you.

    Good Luck

  • I suggest watching the videos about the council of Nicea as it pertains to the TRINITY.

The Modern views of Christianity does NOT reflect the views of the apostles nor does it reflect the views of the first Jews.

The Backyard Professor uses texts and references. I happen to be learning Hebrew from him.

    good luck

  • Christianity is a fusion of pagan beliefs, particularly Horus, Isis and mystery cults like Mythraism.

The writing of stories that we call "Gospels" predates christinaity by as much as 200 years.

When Constantine created Christianity he encouraged the burning of all of the non-canonocial gospels.

Christianity was created by Constantine and his courtiers to fuse Rome under one religion.

Christianity is a re-branding of pagan stories, none of the Biblical stories are unique to christianity.

  • And maybe James is speaking of something good OUTSIDE of our existing religious institutions.

    Anyway, happy TESHUVAH!
