@peterbishop1968 Thanks for the info

@IvanBeSerious The winners always write the history and ensure their propaganda becomes the official history. There are many films of people of European cities greeting German forces; the fact you dont see these on the " History channel" indicates that those in control today find such facts uncomfortable.Try doing a google video of Petain 1944 and see thousands of Parisians greeting and cheering him.

Germany should have concentrated more material into the Luftwaffe, ie fighter production, and put less into vengeance weapons like the V1. AA artillery fired 17,000 shots for every kill so was a very expensive waste of time. With a concentration of 3:1 the fighters could always decimate a bomber formation. As for the me 262 it never really worked to its full potential because the exhausts pipes were not chrome lined. What a disaster !

I cant help it, but I find it funny when the narrator always says: "A town is LIBERATED".
Yes im sure the civilians in Belgium and Luxembourg agree that they are "liberated" by german soldiers ^^
Anyway, thanks for the uploads

@Jomokb76 All the Tigers and Panthers were able to do is run out of gas faster than Pz IV. The US army was about 8 million at that time. 6000 luftwaffe? the US send that many heavy bombers across germany on many days, and the British send more across at night. US 99th divison lost men, but at a ratio of 18 german losses to each American. Artillery rounds don't care how many infantry among which it explodes. In 1944 us had airburst fuse, about 10 times as effective as old "superquick" fuse

Imagine 3 million german army cross the france border with 6000 luftwaffe???
What this troops can do if the same deploy during battle of bulge?
They will split the american and briitih army and captured the antwerp for sure.
None could stop them not even formadible russian army during early 1941

@Jomokb76 Germans in 1940 were inferior in numbers to French and British, though the Luftwaffe was indeed superior. Certainly the inadequate Pz1 and PzII which were used extensively in 1940 would have been ineffective, given that the Panthers and Tigers were unsuccessful.

@hussy747 Odd, I remember reading that the Americans ended up on the Elbe, somewhere pretty far to the east of this battle. Losing your entire country usually means that you are completely defeated. If you like, we could drop a few nuclear bombs on Berlin, if that is what it takes to convince you.
This is a ANGLED documentary! Not solely cheap lies, you uneducated shrimps!
What do the documentary say?
That it shot down a bunch of planes and destroyed many tanks.
It also say that it took many Americans into capture.
But this is TRUE! They did all this!
They didn't ultimately win the battle, but they never said so in the documentary either!
So what the f*** are you on about when you claim this is bull crap?
What, you really think the Americans had no losses and the Germans were pushovers?

Think of the Germans watching this in Dec '44 hoping that maybe everything will work out OK. Something like Americans watching TV today hoping that Obama will be elected, the war will end, and the government will stop illegally spying on citizens without a warrant.
