SEAN HANNITY, HOST: Carrie Prejean became a household name after the 2009 Miss USA Pageant, and during the cost contest last April, she was asked to share her views on same-sex marriages. When she answered honestly and defended traditional marriage, she repeatedly became the target of vicious attacks from the left.

But even after all the name calling and being stripped of her Miss California crown, Carrie Prejean is not backing down.

@hipstermi I'm not saying I agree with her, I'm saying she answered honestly, and that her answer did not contain malice or scorn. Now, she's kind of made a fool of herself since then, shilling for Fox news and acting ridiculous trying to secure some kind of spot in right-wing punditry, but at that pageant, she said how she felt.

Wasn't polished, wasn't eloquent, had some beating around the bush going on, but was still honest.
