I hear dizzy fingers playing at 1:21

I bought a copy of this dvd ages ago and have only just had the chance to watch it today and I found it very interesting. I love the cat at the start of the dvd, how did you get it to do that?
How many staff do you have working at the work shop now that Rob Barker has left?
Keep up the great work

Thank you, should see some organs like this next Sunday, off to a Vintage rally with my engines so will keep an eye out for them.

By the way, the song beginning at 1:24 is Dizzy Fingers composed by Zez Confrey.
Very interesting, in these small fair/street organs are the pipes allways glued in? I have never seen this done before, does that not cause problems with voicing latter on, for example if dirt gets down into the foot of the pipe?
Very ineteresting though : )

Yes. As they are travelling instruments it is prudent to glue them in to prevent a heap of pipes on the organ floor on arrival at your destination!
If it is necessary to re-voice a pipe or remove dirt from the foot, it can be removed as the foot is tapered but goes into a straight hole so the glue line is just enough to hold it in place without being permanent. Thanks for your comments. Alan Pell
