Fascism in America

Fascism, defined by Mussolini as the merger of corporate and state power, has already gained a foothold in America with the recent government bailouts of Wall Street. Our politicians are following the path of post World War I Germany, by hyperinflating our currency and leading us into a crisis which could allow a Hitler-like figure to emerge in America.

@hansjalv Not in theory, but in practice that is exactly what happens. History is the proof. Look at the USSR, China and North Korea. The problem with giving government all the power (socialism) is those who rise to top positions in govt use that power to enrich themselves and their friends. Socialism looks good on paper, but it never works. Govt is a dangerous servant which becomes an even more dangerous master. That is why our forefathers feared big govt (socialism) as we should too!

@enkelin32 OK so you believe the lie. I said there would be pain but we would all survive & this depression would be ending. They did not alleviate pain but did in fact greatly intensify the disaster for the long run. Fiat money is not capital! What they did was simply kick the can down the road. We will still have to deal with the collapse. The difference will be that it will be much greater in the long run & will be much prolonged. Thanks to their actions your Mad Max world is coming! @thenewsurvivalist The consitution is a document of the elite colonial aristocrats that took power from king George to give it to president George and tells the pissed off colonist that faught for nothing against the British "this is what we promise we WON'T take away from you. See, don't kill us we're better than what you had!" And it immediately was ignored and continues to be today. The bill of rights was fought long and hard by the commoners and vets and finally was accepted begrudgingly.

@WR12MSH if there was a new constitution it would be 1. no freedom of speech. 2. no civilian shall bear arms 3. no warrant needed to search and seize. 4. no jury needed to prosecute. 5. no protection from testifying against yourself. the constitution is the best protection we have, but you must learn how to use it. Quote " a piece of property can't enforce the constitution".

@PeriodicMedia Not just right wing. It's both sides, there has been no policy change between presidents. Obama, is only increasing secrecy of gov't and further restricting our liberties. All of our news is propaganda, CNN has been caught lying as well. A surge in libertarianism I feel will be the new enlightenment of our time. if you can't see what's going on... they're going to use the word "terrorists" to describe anyone that opposes their views. remember that, they'll accuse their own people as terrorists in order to make sure nobody opposes them, don't let them piss on out constitution, thomas jefferson would be disgusted at what this great nation has become. we need to stand together.
