The Song of the Dawn

Here is a favortie record . . . The Song of the Dawn. I'mn playing it on a period wind-up style phonograph machine. Both were gifts from people long since lost. Whenever I hear this record it makes me happy even though the song is sort of sad sounding. Take note here that the sound is great off the record and the old player being that it isn't electric and the sound is completely acoustic . . . no speakers, just a paper horn inside the phonograph case.

Looks like a late RCA Victor portable, from ca. 1940.

I see for the first time a Gramophone like that, if it wasn't the tone armn I will say that it's a electric one.
