  • aah I remember doing the C of F's this yeaar!! i was in TG2 music.. we did it in Ottawa.. :) It was sooo muchh fun!! Can't waiit till next year!!

    That was the first time I felt that surge of pride, from being in a well trained group that could do something no one person could accomplish alone.

    One thing I noticed that was different in the Gun's Crew was the way they were marching; we used to have to march with our upper legs coming up parallel to the ground and pointing our toes down. It made us look like horses prancing and looked very good.

    Those days were the best days of my teenage years. Great times.

  • We used to do the Ceremony of the Flags and the Sunset Ceremony back in the early 1970's, at the Sea Cadet Camp, HMCS Cornwallis, NS. I think our Training Officer's name was Maj. Allinski or Alinsky. He was tough but good.

    I remember being on ome of the Gun's Crews and practicing so much our knees would be bleeding from kneeling on the pavement. We ended up cutting the toes out of our grey, wool, socks and using two of them as a knee pad under our pants.

  • TG2 sailors had to be on the field gun this year.... not fun.

  • I did my cf's at acadia for tg2 gunnery this year. One of the best, if not THE best things, i've ever been a part of.
