@Selesify I am a W.A.S.P. fan and I have never heard or read any official reason how the name was created.I am just going off the vinyl record I own that has the words "we are sexual perverts" etched into the record near the spindle hole/label.
Not sure how many of these were printed but I was shocked to see It there next to all the serial numbers.thanks for the Info...

@kelpbeds Well..if you are a W.A.S.P fan you would know that the abbreviations have no specific meaning, and supposedly the story goes that Chris and Blackie were sitting outside the studio when a wasp landed near them and that was the idea for the band name from Chris's side, Blackie later added the dots....FYI
