  • It is still expensive to buy SSD today. But give it a year, or even a few months, people will be selling their small SSDs to trade up for larger (> 100GB) ones.

  • you don't know what boot up time is !

  • Hey, dude, what model is this? Mine came with 1 gb of RAM and I want to know whether I can put a 2GB or 1GB module in this machine.

  • u might as well bought a macbook air instead

  • Running XP on an S10 with and X-25M I can go power button to desktop in 15 seconds from hibernate and 25 seconds from a previous shutdown. Other than adding the X25-M my only other mod was adding a 2gb stick of Corsair. Total cost was between $600-700 but the performance spanks any other PC I've ever used.

  • OCZ Vertex is comparable to the X-25m and half the price. Check out Anandtech's review.

  • that's fast. i have an s10 but no SSD - i was curious about this, so thanks.

is the battery life any better with the SSD?

  • damn that is fast!
