This is a video of the hard rocking band from Okinawa ... Condition Green. For you former GI's stationed on the ROCK you may remember these guys. I'm placing the video on my Vlog to see who remembers them and to hear any wild times that may have happened to you while you were in Okinawa and out having a good time.
my best buddy and i were there 78-79, the best time of our lives, its been over 30 yrs, seems like yesterday memories are so vivid and then finding this site and others about the rock really reinforce, i still have my condition green album "mixed up" the guitarist was phenomenal,he once got rid of a rip roaring headache i had by using his hands around my head 2 minutes no headache, party on, we got moved to hanson, we use to see a band there with a tall female lead singer in k town name of band?

@gja111075 LOL. Katchan was my neighbor. I was stationed there between 85-89. It was never a dull day living next to Katchan and his antics that's for sure.

I played with Katchan (singer) at Jack Nasty's for almost three years (01'-03'). Videos just can't show the true nature of his genius.... It was hard, sucked at sometimes, but rock and roll lives on in Okinwawa... I miss you Kenichi (guitarist now)...

\might have been the Filmore West - the opposite of the famous place in NY of Alman Bros. album fame.

I was stationed in Okinawa twice and the first time from 1984 to 1987 unaccompanied. The first place I ever went to was the Filmore East bar and saw these guys. From drinking Sapporo beer poured out of a giant bottle into a stinky sneaker and the guy drinking it, the guy dressed as a doctor and the antics that went on, plus purple haze drinks and the great musicianship - I loved them! I posted it on my facebook profile - your link
