After three days of continuous training in the Tekong jungle, the recruits find a nemesis in the hard ground as they dig in for the first time.

  • somehow i feel smth missing....oh!!! vulgarities from the SGTS! lols!!

  • 7:09, "Platoon sergeant : Prove yourself how tough you are. Recruit with the sleeping face: Bo pian la" hahaha future commanders?

  • haha cry.. last time training more worse....

  • what if i got acne then must camo face ? means i dont camo the pimples ah ? but quiet a lot eh

  • i finally understand why my ns-ord frens say army makes you stupid lol

  • could be the cameras around, makes the commanders so ON, and so caring to train soldiers, during my recruit days, commanders were not like this, they just wanted to give us punishment, when we did good, they didint care, i think the pep talk does help us to understand all this suffering is for a greater good and not because we are a "chow recruit"...

  • when i was a recruit, took me hours to get shellscrape to be up, seems not use to digging, after a few hits, i feel so drained out!!!. eventually we went on to dig the trench, which took us the entire night till dawn before we are done!!!..

but when i was in guard unit, couple of months later, the standard was 1 hr to dig a shell scrape, was all of us was able to do it, and a trench, did not take us more then 6 hrs.

so its all in the mind... ;)
