A Astro hog with a FlyCamOne2 on the tail. It was a very windy day as you can hear before the engine is started.

  • Its a intermediate plane, and needs to come in with some speed. but very stable and easy to fly.

  • i flew my astrohog for the first time on sunday, instantly bacame one of my most favoured planes ever. very stable in straight flight and some landings i am very proud of

  • its funny how, technically, the astro hog is a very old plane, one of the first low wing planes of this standard, yet it still graces the skies today

    not a bad thing though

  • oh definately, from what ive heared anyway. i have one in the garage, just there hasnt been any good flying days for a first flight

if anything, the p51 is less stable than an astro hog

  • i learnt with this model-, built it from a kit stuck a 50.2stroke in it and withing 5 sessions landing and taking off, excellent to learn on very stable and fun to fly, the it ended up with a 91sc in it weeks after poor thing
