Viktualienmarkt in der Münchner Altstadt

Arbeitsame Städter und Touristen treffen sich mittags auf dem Viktualienmarkt, um eine Kleinigkeit zu essen, Spezialzutaten aus aller Herren Länder für das Abendessen oder echte Münchner Andenken zu kaufen und sich ein bisschen im Schatten der Kastanien auszuruhen. Seinen Durst kann man hier im Sommer an einem der vielen Trinkwasserbrunnen auf dem Markt stillen, z.B. denen der berühmten Münchner Volksschauspieler Liesl Karlstadt und Karl Valentin.

Und ganz kurz etwas zu der leidigen Klimathematik:

20. Dezember 2011, Viktualienmarkt: Eiskalt und voll mit weißem Schnee, keine schlürfenden Schuhe zu hören. Also ist es dieses Jahr "NOCH" kälter als im Vorjahr. Die letzten 3 Winter waren eindeutig kälter als davor. Und dieser Winter, der erst jetzt begonnen hat, wird sich sicher nicht lumpen lassen. Vieles deutet darauf hin, daß dieser "nochmal" kälter wird.

Ende Oktober 2011: ERSTER SCHNEE !

@SesselbahnDegenfeld, Danke sehr. Erst heute Abend wieder das gleiche Szenario, wie warm angeblich es ist, weil es nicht schneien würde an Heilig Abend. So ein Quatsch. Wir werden hier wieder jede Menge Schnee bekommen. Ich erinnere mich an meine Kindheit, als es nur selten Schnee gehabt hat an Heilig Abend. Der Winter ist im Anmarsch, die "Wärme-Prediger" werden sich ihren Arsch erfrieren. Servus und ein gesegnetes Weihnachtsfest und einen guten Rutsch.

@RosenSteinRock It's a really good video! Calm camerawork, pleasant sound (not distracting). it doesn't look "glitzy." I found Antwerp, Belgium to be a cold, expensive city, but a fascinating one, & finding how good their market was was a real surprise! I will not live ANYWHERE without a good market, where one can buy more directly from the vendors of food. In Saint-Denis, the best food vendors of animal products put up photos of the animals out in the air with space around them!
