Luna Nova IX
Keeping a bass line somewhat coherent while stringing melodic elements. More like a study. Do this occasionally when not feeling like playing anything. There are so many possibilities.

Was given the most beautiful piece of prose/poetry yesterday. Sticks in my mind. Inspiring. May post it on this channel should I get the author's permission.

Finally got the sound on my other amplifier in the right realm at band. These clips are recorded straight direct in. The sound suffers greatly but they will provide some insight into my practice/work out routine.
Talking to a piano player yesterday and he was talking about his 5 hour work out routine. Used to play that much but can't anymore. Don't know how much difference it makes anyway. I mean you have to be limber but sometimes it builds tension, mental and physical which can be the biggest blocker of all in the long run - tension, stress, - the greatest wall of all.
Heard Victor Wooten of the Bela Fleck group talk about staying relaxed when he plays. Lots about breathing and stopping playing if he is feeling tense, or putting a break in his playing.
Last night with band was good. Lots of intensity of playing.

So when will the moon come out of the dark?
