A gorgeous tune written By Ian Greig and John Woodside in 1981. The original title for the tune was 'Air for Isobel'

Kerrera is a beautiful island in the west Of Scotland. All the images are from that area

  • A wonderful tune to lift the soul, & lovely video of kerrera to watch. Thanks for sharing

  • Annabel, may I take the opportunity to correct you. I still have the original tape recordings from the session in Edinburgh in 1981 when Ian and myself composed this tune.

I fully agreed to the copyright/credit on the Ceilidh Express album track being given solely to Ian, however, the fact is that we co-wrote the tune "Air for Isobel (The Kerrera Air).

  • Thanks for the info
