Just an idea, have you thought about mounting the bottom sail plate with all of the holes in it onto a tinny swivel seat mount ?
Should, in theory, let you rotate the mount rather than pulling out the fibreglass rods and resetting them in the new holes. Would need a method to lock it , but should be simple enough as a drop pin or something.
