Playing as the Portugese I won this conquest with victory points. The ship I sailed into Lisbon had four or five treasure units on board, making my victory points go over the required amount to win.

The Portugese are purple (if you can't tell this from looking at victory points then learn a bit more about this game.)

The music is from the game files.

  • Scenarios like Rome rising on sid basically are easy until they get stacks of 60-80 guys. of course you have some big stacks too, and if your e smart youre using terrain and forts and stuff to your advantage, but there really ought to be a population cap on unit stacks. Thats the one problem with this game.

  • A system could be that you can only build twice the unit support limit of your government (not sure what would happen with Democracy) would be good, but inconvenient at the same time.

  • nice. what color are you?

  • Purple Portugal.

  • england, you do nothing!

  • When i was playing France on sid i had 80 treasures in a big stack of ships, then Spain came with about 100 ships and came and sank them so i lost.

  • To be honest loosing to a 1 health warrior is a bit stupid. A legionary 2 has 4 defence, fortified it has the equivalent of 5, on a city then it has the equivalent of 7, while a warrior has 1 attack.

I think the answer to the big fleet problem is get a load of man-o-wars to defend your galleons going across the Atlantic, or along the American coast in the Pacific.

  • Yea, well Sid is not that bad in some ways, but in this scenario, they rack up immense fleets, so large that you literally cant go anywhere without be pwned. I personally believe it to be pure luck sometimes on sid. Then again, the game has some problems-they wont affect you on deity and those settings, but like when you lose a legionary 2 to a one health warrior (no joke) while DEFENDING A CITY that just ruins your game on sid. Thats why sid is so damn hard.
