Pit Bulls are great dogs and thanks for making this video. It is a shame that people "bite" into media hype and don't have the intelligence or forthsight to check out the REAL stats. "The pit bull is easily the most misunderstood breed of dog in the U.S, unfortunately, it is the very loving and loyal nature of these dogs that makes them prone to exploitation."
Paul Berry Chief Executive Officer of Best Friends where 22 of Michael Vicks Dogs were sent.

ok, Am Staff's are Pit Bulls. (or american pit bull) The Colby Family, who have been breeding for the last 100 years, there dogs are the standards for the AKC who Register Pit Bulls under the name American Staffordshire Terrier. The AKC just gave the Pit Bull that name cuz it just looks better on Paper.

Good video, hopefully it will educate the uneducated about pitbull's and hopefully they will understand just a little bit more. Pitbull's has always been a part in my family and always will be!

Locking jaw is instinctive not mechanical. Same effect. Only the Rottweiler and wolf bite harder. Shit bulls kill more children than any other type of dog. They even kill unborn children. Google Darla Napora and Amya Hess. Shits are responsible for 95% of dog on dog killings in the US annually. 78% dog on human. 17 humans so far in 2011. Cases of shits attacking moments after adoption are legion. Rank and file officers are using shits. Not sanctioned by any PD of SD in US. Google the facts!

@airamakabebe13 you study dogs, but you don't know how to spell "Their"?
-
Owner not the dog.
ASny dog can be aggresive and violent if the owner is bad.
-
Video proves absolutely nothing. Thumbs down.

its the owner not the dog. my red nose pit is the most wonderful dog i have ever had. i used to be skeptical myself, but i rescued her as a puppy and i will NEVER look back. i have a baby girl that she loves and protects and her best friend is a 7lb russian blue cat. she has never shown a single sign of aggression, and i truly believe that if you beat or starve ANY mammal they are gonig to get aggressive, i know i would!

@airamakabebe13 No, they don't. Watch Dogs 101: Pitbulls.

Wonderful video. :) You might want to fix some of the spelling, though. It makes what you have to say seem more credible.

You get the "Awesome" stars from me! I've loved these dogs for years and always will. My present Staffordshire Bull Terrier is my second service dog and has her paws full, but is always cheerful and loves everything with a heart beat - especially children and cats!
I rescued her when she was a year old and do not regret it one bit. You have to be careful not to over discipline these tender hearted, sensitive & very intelligent dogs. They love to please and that's the best way to train them.
