This looks like a "do not do this" video for dog bite prevention. A subject I teach to school children and parents. You are very lucky that dog got up and moved away rather than bite the kid in the face. It is so obvious the dog did not like the kid poking and hitting it. Did you know a yawn is a dog's sign of stress? So is licking in the face. This seems like an older dog that might have pain as well.
