You should try vandoren traditional reeds. I would probably sugest going up to a size 3 reed too. You have a nice initial sound, but it gets buzzy as soon as you try to push it. A harder reed will help that and should help with the altissimo notes too.

Cool. I e-mailed him a while back when I first performed it, asking him to check out this video to see if I did it right. Never got a response though.

im just saying, two sax player aren't alike, one might be able to hit those altissimos on a 2.5, another might be able to hit them on a 3, everyone is not the same

Thanks for the defense :) Yeah, it's all about preference. I agree though that it's easier to hit altissimo notes with harder reeds, but I prefer the sound and flexibility of a softer reed.
