...if I had the money...I'd by the land and the big stack...then hire the best architectural firm in the world...and have 'em design and refit it into a living-space for me...with a penthouse & deck on top... the taller th' stack- all th' better!

I used to ride my bike around there, and try to get a tour by telling the guard we know a Mr. Koblankos that said it was okay. We never got the tour. I wonder why he didn't btlieve us?

Where's the bike trail ? When did they build all of this crap on the old Ovaltine sight ? This was on Villa Ave, Villa Park ? What a waste of money.

I know that Ovaltine mix and milk was used for the mortar for the bricks in that stack.

...I always wanted to buy one of them stacks and then build a house in it up at the top for the fantastic view...plus a telescope and a deck for an elevated BB-Q and base-jump off it for kicks... These stacks are damn well-built- this idea has great potential... if ya got th' bucks!

Actually I'm more sorry to see Adam's Place on St. Charles go than the Ovaltine smokestack even though I haven't lived in Villa Park for more than a dozen years now. I'm old enough to remember when the factory was still active, and even took a tour when I was a little kid. It looks from the video that the stack almost clobbered the nearby condos on the way down.

straight uhhhp me too. and also me and chris met a drunk guy there and kept going on about stories about it and then we found him a "perfect brick" and then he said "oh man this perfect im gonna put this under my deck"
